Features & Benefits The Edmark Reading Program, Level 2, is an extension of Level 1 for students who have successfully completed Level 1 but are not yet ready for a more traditional reading approach. Level 2 continues to provide students with one-to-one teacher-to-student lessons. Level 2 teaches 200 words including compound words, as well as reviewing and reinforcing words learned in Level 1.Level 2 introduces colorful new graphics and two adolescent characters who are the focus of real-life situation stories. Story Book Lessons include 100 illustrated stories with colorful full-page drawings. Comprehension questions focus students' attention on the meaning within the stories. At ten-word intervals, review and test activities are provided allowing teachers to test student knowledge of learned words. Short instructional steps, repetition, and constant positive reinforcement build self-confidence in the student.
