A part of the middle school series from Optimum Resource, Inc., Punctuation Rules is designed to help students improve their punctuation skills. Students work with appropriate level sentences which follow common rules of punctuation.
The program covers material ranging from categories of sentences to forming possessives and allows students to gain strength in their ability to correctly use periods, commas, apostrophes, question marks, colons, hyphens, quotation marks, exclamation points, and more. Progress reports are available and all rules and questions may be printed as practice tests or take-home sheets Questions reference life skills such as writing letters, notes, and memos. Reviews appear at the end of each section and teachers may adjust the starting level and number of tries for each student. Students may view the curriculum-based rules at any time. Audio for the rules and questions are available on the CD-ROM version.
