Stickybear Phonics: Volume 2 combines video, sound and animation, to teach begiining readers to sound out words with consonant and vowel blends. Based on the most recent and respected research in reading, Stickybear Phonics, Volume 2 encourages children to reproduce sounds as they are heard, reinforcing speaking and listening skills. Through integrated video, professional actors accurately demonstrate the material, allowing children to see how the mouth shapes sound and hear the correct pronunciation of each word.
The reading student is encouraged to reproduce each sound, word, and phrase immediately after they are demonstrated on screen. Stickybear Phonics: Volume 2 introduces consonant & vowel blends, and mixed consonant/vowel blends. Each blend of letters is clearly spoken, with letters, blends, syllables, and words appearing on screen as they are spoken. Features & Benefits The self-paced lessons are reinforced through delightful, animations and on-screen interactive activities. Student progress is tracked automatically and teachers can print out progress reports.Workbook sheets may be printed at any time for use off-screen.
