This comprehensive science program includes five reproducible books with easy-to-read chapters and diagrams that address important characteristics, functions, and health issues related to each of the body's systems. Completely updated, the lessons have been aligned with National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) strands and objectives to help students master concepts tested on high-stakes assessments.

Features

Short, easy-to-understand lessons cover basic facts about the skeletal and muscular systems. Written at a 3.0 - 5.0 reading level, the chapters feature key vocabulary words and pre-reading questions to help students prepare for reading and make connections to their own lives. Simple diagrams throughout the text enhance understanding.

Following each chapter are three reproducible activity sheets that reinforce students' comprehension of the text and key vocabulary words. Includes multiple-choice, matching, categorization, and fill-in-the-blank activities.
