These programs encourage children and adults with speech or language impairments to express themselves. They provide an interactive environment for language exploration and communication exchange.These programs: • Promote expressive use of words and phrases • Teach the formation of grammatically correct sentences • Develop pragmatic skills Suggested for individuals (Pre-K through Adult) with: Autism, developmental disabilities, language-learning disabilities, physical impairments, TBI, and aphasia as well as candidates for augmentative communication systems Features & Benefits Talking Nouns I, Talking Nouns II, and Talking Verbs give children and adults with language impairments the opportunity to communicate. Users simply select a word, phrase, or picture to make the computer speak. Corresponding pictures of nouns or verbs appear on the screen. Talking Nouns I: Talking Nouns I lets users communicate using 50 early developing nouns. Each of the two built-in templates has 25 nouns. Custom templates that use any of the nouns can be developed and saved. Talking Nouns II: Talking Nouns II includes an additional 50 early developing nouns. This program expands vocabulary and increases communication opportunities. Talking Verbs: Talking Verbs lets users communicate using 40 early developing verbs. This program increases communication opportunities. The automatic record-keeping, lesson summaries, and customizable progress reports ensure accountability, while the Sterling Administration System makes student management and data analysis easy. The Sterling Administration System's single interface will track an unlimited number of students.
